PTS 150-R

George Schneider (Email to Nauticapedia 27/04/2023) stated "As we moved we got close to North Island, and I shot a barge that was alongside the aircraft carrier USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN, apparently providing sandblasting services. The barge was a new one for me, PTS 150-R (510848). She's formerly the ANNALEE and until recently has been doing this same work for Pacific Tugboat Service under that name. This vessel was built by Jansen Barge in Troutdale OR in 1967 as SS-6 for Schnitzer Leasing, one of several scrap dealers that got into the barge rental business. That began when they realized the plating from ships they were scrapping could be re-used directly. Later this vessel sailed as KT 1 for Kawaihae Towing of Honolulu and MPE 1 for Marine Leasing Corp before becoming ANNALEE for Cook Inlet Tug & Barge in 1972."
