This freighter was built in 1948 by Burntisland Shipbuilding Company Ltd.
Notas históricas
On September 10, 1957 the US Army dredge William T. Rossell sank after colliding with the Norwegian vessel Thorsall with loss of life. Having just dumped her load the dredge was inbound when this vessel was hit by the Thorsall.
In 1978 this vessel was broken up.
