Story

This passenger vessel was built in 1991 by Gulfstream Shipbuilding in Freeport, FL.

Historical Notes

George Schneider (Email to Nauticapedia 12/10/2022) stated "Besides private yachts, every tour boat in the harbor was out in the fairway designated for spectator boats. One I'd never seen underway before was the FUME BLANC COMMODORE (973217), built in 1991 by Freeport SB in Florida and a resident of San Francisco Bay ever since. She's owned by Ward Proescher's Commodore cruises, and in his various reincarnations of the company has also sailed as JACK LONDON COMMODORE and CELEBRATIONS COMMODORE before he decided on wine names for all his vessels.

He had started one company before this, based in Berkeley CA, which he sold. It was the seed of what is now the HORNBLOWER empire. "

Owners & Masters

In 1991-2022 she was owned by Ward Hornblower Proescher.
