Story

This range vessel was built in 1943 by Cambridge Shipbuilders.

Historical Notes

George Schneider (Email to Nauticapedia 07/12/2021) stated "BOANERGES was originally T-147. One owner said he thought this vessel had been a Navy range boat, which is very possible, very possibly predecessor to the steel ex T-boat YFRT 521 that worked at the gunfire range at San Clemente Island. This vessel became TRIDENT (ON 289854) while still looking like a T-boat, then was highly modified as BOANERGES. Her last documents were issued in 2000 and expired in 2002, so she’s either under state license or living below the radar. "
