This cable layer was built in 1964 by Cammell Laird & Co. Ltd., Birkenhead UK.
In 1982 this vessellaid the ANZCAN cable laid shore ends at Port Alberni, Fiji and Hawaii. The vessel was withdrawn from service and broken up in 2002.
In 1964-1999 she was owned by Cable & Wireless Co., London UK.
In 1999-2002 she was owned by Global Marine Systems Ltd.
