Story

This brigantine (sail training) was built by J.M. Martinac Shipbuilding Co. in Tacoma, WA.

Historical Notes

George Schneider (Email to Nauticapedia 07/12/2021) stated "a brigantine that apparently is some sort of sail-training-for-hire ship. The ship is modern, not one of the "olde materials and techniques" replicas, and was built in 2001 by J. M. Martinac in Tacoma. This vessel apparently sails worldwide on her educational missions, combining seamanship training with ecological and oceanographic awareness among other things."
