Historische Notizen

George Schneider (Email to Nauticapedia 07/12/2021) stated "this vessel was built by American Marine Corp. in 1968 for the Lone Star Cement Corp. and named LONE STAR. Sause Bros picked her up in 1985 and operated her as ROBERT L. During the Dark Ages between 1981 and 1989 when no MVUS was published, this vessel was lengthened from 103 ft (94.1 reg) to 122 ft (116.2 reg) in length. I don't know that Sause ever lengthened a tug, and I can't really imagine where this vessel was lengthened, unless much of her house was added at that time as well. Brusco picked her up in 2006. In this photo this vessel was taking dump scows out to deep water off the Golden Gate with dredging spoils."
