Story

This fishboat, general was built in 1923 by Sausalito Boat Works.

Historical Notes

In 2022 Kyle Stubbs reported her afloat and berthed in Crescent City CA USA. David Wright Email (David Wright - Nauticapedia 28/02/2022) reports that "The Smith Brothers boats were built at a yard literally called Sausalito Boat Works, small yard that mostly built fishing boats and small tugs/workboats, also sailboats. Founded by Menotti Pasquinucci in 1887 as a boat repair yard, later taken over by his son Frank and incorporated in August 1907. Built about 700 boats before Frank retired and leased the yard to Edgewater Boat Shop in November 1957. Yard was at foot of Turney Street. I believe the old shop building is now a restaurant called The Joinery."
