Brad Wicks (Email to Nauticapedia 06/01/2021) stated "Ernie Wicks is my grandfather, and Bill Wicks is my great uncle. Just to clarify my family is Wicks and they are not the same family as Ole Wick in Oona River BC Canada." "The Hurricane had a 1500 horse power Packard Merlin engine out of a naval vessel that Ernie bought at an auction for $300 bucks."
