This fishboat, general was built in 1973 by Nichols & Drake Boat Builders in Freeland, WA.
Historical Notes
Kyle Stubbs reports (July 2026): "From 2014 to 2016, I photographed this vessel laid-up in the boatyard at Port Townsend, Washington. According to Port of Port Townsend minutes from a February 22, 2017 meeting, the Eric J was demolished at request of the port in early 2017."

In 1973-1979 she was owned by Robert R. Drake, Snoqualmie WA USA.
In 1980-1997 she was owned by Jon A. Greenway, Seattle WA USA.
