Historische Notizen
On 22 Sept 2009 Kyle Stubbs wrote: The hulk TWIN HARBOR was originally the Liberty Ship WOODBRIDGE N FERRIS (ON 242687), Bethlehem Fairfield hull 2081.
She was sold for scrap in 1965, but instead converted into a lightering vessel (meaning a floating dock with a crane) for the Twin Harbor Stevedoring Company of Aberdeen.
She was later used as a breakwater at Tyee Marina for many years until being scrapped at Schnitzer Steel in Tacoma. George Schneider (Feb 2026) writes: Often referred to in print as TWIN HARBORS OF ABERDEEN. Her last documents were issued in 2000, expiring 2002.
In 2009 she was still afloat at Tacoma WA.
