歴史的注記
On May 3, 1934 this freighter grounded on the southwest end of Peacock Spit at the Columbia River Bar with the loss of 4 crew members. The ship was saved by the USCG cutter Redwing which pulled her off and took her in tow. The sea conditions were so terrible that the Redwing towed her north for 58 hours into Esquimalt Harbor BC Canada.
