Story
This schooner, four-masted was built in 1890 by J.A. & G.A. Creighton Shipyard in Thomason, ME.
Historical Notes
In 1901-1902 this vessel sailed to the Pacific Northwest via a circumnavigation voyage. On December 23, 1909 this schooner, with a cargo of mumber from Everett WA to California, was abandoned off Cape Flattery WA USA with the loss of 10 crew members. This vessel was reported as derelict and drifting northward up the US coast. The U.S.R.C. Snohomish was searching unsuccessfully for her and it was thought this vessel would travel the same drift route as the derelict Great Admiral up to the Queen Charlotte Islands BC Canada.
