This yacht, (expedition) was built in 1984 by Kong & Halvorsen Marine Engineering Co. Ltd. in Hong Kong.
Historical Notes
Originally 130ft YECATS built by Kong & Halvorsen in 1984. Dennis Washington lengthened the yacht to 142ft and renamed ATTESSA. The yacht appeared in the movie "Indecent Proposal". This vessel (as Yecats) starred in the Hollywood movie Overboard in the 1980s with Curt Russel and Goldie Hawn. The same boat renamed Attessa appeared in the movie Indecent Proposal starring Woody Harrelson, Robert Redford, and Demi Moore. This vessel burned and sank off the coast of Greece in 1998.
Owners & Masters
In 1984 she was owned by Dennis Washington, Vancouver BC Canada.
She was sold as the Huntress to George Argyros.
Rebuilds
She was rebuilt lengthened to 142ft
