Sophia (I)

Al Hoskins (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 27/04/2019) stated that "This vessel suffered a fire at Ganges Harbour on December 7, 1978 and the cabin works was destroyed, but was rebuilt to a slightly different configuration by Bruce Hildred and friends. I donated a GM 300 c.i. inline 6 gas engine & Borg Warner gear to replace the old equipment." The community raised more than $1600 to purchase new equipment for the boat which was rebuilt by Bruce Hildred.
