This patrol vessel was built in 1955 by United States Coast Guard Shipyard in Baltimore, MD.
This vessel was a Cape-class coast guard cutter.
In 1955-1989 she was owned by the United States Coast Guard.
In 1989-1999 she was owned by the Sea Shepherd Society.
In 1999 the Sea Shepherd donated it as a permanent patrol vessel for the Galapagos National Park Marine Reserve.
She was owned by the World Wildlife Fund.
