In 1996 this vessel was broken up.
In 1953 she was owned by the United States Maritime Commission. I n1958 she was owned by American Banner Lines.
In 1958 she was rebuilt as a passenger vessel at Pascagoula MS by Ingalls Ship Building Corp. to 554.0' x 76.0' x 26.0' and 18,100gt
