This yacht, sail was built in 1986 by Chantiers Henri Wauquiez in Mouvaux.
Gary Wharton (Email to Nauticapedia 17/12/2022) reported that "On February 23, 1995, the yacht Panache IV was scuttled by her owner off Turn Point while en route to Vancouver BC Canada. This vessel was raised by the underwriters from 800 ft to prove the intentional loss."
In 2012-2025 she was owned by Medanic Fisheries Ltd., Port Moody BC Canada.
