Her Canadian Register close 1999-10-04. Caitlyn Martin (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 12/11/2021) states "This vessel is has a 1980 Tristar hull LOA is 48'. She's 42 tons. Her original owner was James Nelson who used it as a home and office, he worked for the Canadian Fisheries Dept. Original name was the "Western". On board were over 100 charts (mainly Canada and Southern Alaska), dating as far back as the early 1970s, that you can tell have been well used over the years. We are the 4th owners of this lovely vessel, she's now based in the Seattle area, and has been renamed Archimedes."
