This corvette (daphne=class) was built in 1838 by H.M. Dockyard (Pembroke).
Historische Notizen
This vessel was on Pacific Station in 1851. This vessel made a voyage to Fort Rupert in 1851 to arrest the murderers of three deserters from the Beaver. In the skirmish Chief Lookinglass was killed and three natives wounded.
