In December 1965 this vessel was sunk and lost in the fraser River near New Westminster BC and was a total loss.

In 1925-1937 she was owned by The Dominion Tug & Barge Co. Ltd., Vancouver BC Canada.

In 1937-1967 she was owned by the Gulf of Georgia Towing Co. Ltd., Vancouver BC Canada.

The initials V.D.S. stood for Vancouver Dry Dock and Salvage Co. Ltd. The initials "G. of G. " stood for Gulf of Georgia.
