Chris Price states that "the name is spelled with a lowercase “l” for “le”. Correct spelling is “le Matou”" However the Canada List of Shipping (the legal name) is capitalized as "Le Matou". Chris Price (Email to Nauticapedia 28/10/2019) stated "This boat was sold on November 1st, 2018 and my wife and I are no longer the owners. New owner is Mike Isinger. The Transport Canada has cancelled the registry for this vessel as it is now listed as “closed”. " The vessel is now licenced BC5071021."
