This tug was built in 1967 by Alberni Engineering & Shipyards Ltd. in Port Alberni, BC.
In 1967-1984 she was owned by Tom Mowat Towing Ltd., Port Alberni BC Canada.
In 1999 she was owned by Canadian interests.
