This patrol vessel was built in 1957 by Star Shipyards (Mercers) Ltd. in New Westminster, BC.
In 1957-1983 she was owned by the Minister of Fisheries, Ottawa ON in the Fisheries Protection Service on the Pacific Coast.
In 1985-1997 she was owned by the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, Ottawa ON Canada.
In 2001-2011 she was owned by Robert N. Gibson, Victoria BC Canada.
