Historische Notizen
On August 31, 1894 this vessel was found to be leaking at Newcastle NSW from damaged bottom plate, probably by ship's own anchor; repaired at Sydney NSW.
In 1896-1897 she was shipping grain from Puget Sound WA USA. On July 30, 1906 she was stranded when departing Vinda Island, Peru for Ghent Belgium with a cargo of guano, and leaking badly; refloated and beached at Caleta Tortuga. Pumping by salvage steamer Azov did not reduce water level in hold and she was considered a total loss and abandoned.
