Historical Notes

Wendy Knudson (Email to Nauticapedia 29/01/2022) stated "Mark Appleyard and I were a couple. We lived on and raised our little girl Emily on Cytherea for her first 5 years. The boat designer was Edwin Monk. A very comfortable liveaboard. The hull was yellow cedar, oak frames. We bought it from Bill Bell. I understand that the Milletts sailed her to Australia , but haven’t heard anything since. We (Mark and I) did a major overhaul, around 1983, replaced rigging, cabin, decks and interior. "
