This research vessel was built in 1976 by Canoe Cove Manufacturing Ltd. in Sidney, BC.
Historical Notes
This vessel had a bright yellow hull, and two booms with sonar probes mounted on hulls from a Hobie Cat sail boat. This vessel was based in 2003-2004 at the Department of fisheries and Oceans office on Annacis Island, New Westminster BC Canada.

In 1976-1986 she was owned by The Minister of Public Works, Ottawa ON Canada.
In 2004 she was owned by The Minister of Public Works & Government Services, Ottawa ON Canada.
In 2012 she was owned by Canadian interests.
