This trawler, anti-submarine was built in 1936 by Cochrane & Sons Ltd. in Selby, Yorkshire.
歴史的注記
This vessel was completed in November 1936 and taken over by the Admiralty on 2 June 1940. This vessel was returned to her owner in December 1945 and broken up at Inverkeithing in 1965.

In 1936-1940 she was owned by Hudson Brothers Trawlers Ltd In 1940-1943 she was operated by the Royal Navy.
In 1943 she was loaned by the RN to the Royal Canadian Navy and manned by RN crew.
She carried out escort duties for Quebec-Sydney convoys.
She was returned to the RN in 1945 and returned to her owners.
