This frigate (1942/3 programme) was built in 1943 by Yarrows Ltd. in Esquimalt, BC.
Notas históricas
Instead of champagne - holy water from India was flown in for Sardarni Malik, wife of the former Indian high commisioner to Canada to break on the bow.
Propietarios y capitanes
In 1943-1945 she was owned by the Royal Canadian Navy.
In 1947 she was in service as a Hooghly River pilot vessel in India.
