This freighter was built in 1976 by B.C. Marine Shipbuilders Ltd. in Vancouver, BC.
Historical Notes
The hull was ice strengthened to Ice Class 1, fitted for deck cargo, drilling and anchor handling. This vessel was mothballed in 1986 and sailed to South Africa in 1994.
In 2014 this vessel was reported to have been broken up.

In 1976-1979 she was owned by Dome Petroleum Ltd., Vancouver BC Canada.
In 1994 she was owned by Anya Holdings, Capetown RSA.
