This freighter was built in 1944 by Martinolich Steamship Co. in San Francisco, CA.
歴史的注記
In 1953 this vessel was brought to BC coast by CPR for service with British Columbia Steam Ship Company on the west coast of Vancouver Island to replace the Princess Maquinna. The CPR found that this vessel was not well suited for the west coast of Vancouver Island run. This vessel was returned, under tow which caused a cancellation of a Christmas trip. Great West Towing operated her on the west coast. This vessel was sold out of service and transferred to the Caribbean. George Schneider (May 2026) writes: Her engine room flooded and she sank 02 February 1985 in Lat 14 N, Long 70.2 W.
