This barge, rail car was built in 1937 by McCharles, F.R. in Eburne, BC.

This vessel had and external steel framework to strengthen the wooden hull while carrying heavy railcars. On June 18, 1963 this vessel began to leak, took on water and capsized in Juan de Fuca Strait. This vessel was beached and converted to a breakwater in Saanich BC Canada.
