This frigate (1942/3 programme) was built in 1943 by Yarrows Ltd. in Esquimalt, BC.
Historische Notizen
Instead of champagne, holy water from India was flown in for Sardarni Malik, wife of the former Indian high commisioner to Canada, to break on the bow.
Eigentümer & Kapitäne
In 1943-1945 she was owned by the Royal Canadian Navy.
In 1947 she was in service as a Hooghly River pilot vessel in India.
