In 1942 this vessel was converted to a Gate Vessel for the Royal Canadian Navy and sold out of service at the end of the Second World War.

In 1914-1919 she was owned by the Canada Department of Marine and Fisheries.
She was acquired by the Royal Canadian Navy for service 1918.
In 1919 she was returned to the Minister of Marine and Fisheries, Ottawa ON Canada.
In 1940 she was owned by the Minister of Transport, Ottawa ON Canada.
