Robert Fisher (Email to Nauticapedia 10/01/2024) stated that "this vessel was employed originally as a hospital rescue boat on the coast of Australia - and somehow ended up in Japan. This vessel was transported from Japan to Vancouver BC Canada. Beverley Blackmore of Blackmore's Marina had it shipped over. Blackmore built the aft cabin and put in an oil stove.
