This yacht, sail (ketch-rigged) was built in 1966 by David, Francis H. in Vancouver, BC.
Historische Notizen
Ron David (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 23/10/2016) states "this was my cousin Frank David's boat,"Siwash" that he built. I think in the end it died on the beach around Genoa Bay and rotted away. Frank's dad Prosper was a deckhand ion the SS Iroquois when went it went down in 1911. Frank served in the merchant fleet in WW2 and in the later part joined the army and was a member of the "Devil's Brigade".
He passed away a few years ago."
