Notas históricas

Laurie MacBride stated (Email 12/10/2019) that "My brother said the boat was originally built as a lifeboat, but the buyer wasn't satisfied with it - that it was either too small for the intended use, or too large, he couldn't remember which. So Rodd Brothers took it back, and built a cabin on it, converting it into a pleasure boat. That fits with what I remember - my dad always referred to it as a "converted lifeboat"."
