Geschichte

This fishboat, general was built in 1940 by Tacoma Boat Building Co.,.

Historische Notizen

In 1959 this vessel sank near Three Tree Point, Puget Sound WA but was apparently raised.

In 1968 this vessel sank in the Bay of Chaleur, subsequently beached and burned because this vessel had been damaged beyond repair. George Schneider (Sept 2026) Writes: Her builder could be in question. U. S. Navy documents say she was built by Martinac S.B. in Tacoma, while Canadian documents state Tacoma Boat Co. Although taken over in wartime to be a minesweeper, her stability didn't allow for the paravane winch on deck, so instead she was reclassified as a patrol boat, in which category the vessels in fact were used for varying purposes as needed.
