Historical Notes
George Schneider (August 2026) Writes: She was originally delivered as CAPTAIN, but pilots in Los Angeles / Long Beach harbors found it a confusing name, since they also call the captains / pilots on other vessels "Captain" in conversations with tugs. The solution was to give this vessel a "promotion."
