Historische Notizen
George Schneider (July 2026) Writes: This vessel's last documents expired in 1994, but she remains afloat at Fairport MI. She's a classic "Fish Tug," typically a gillnetter that houses her fishermen from the weather and warms them with the heat from the boat's engine. Origins of the term "Fish Tug" are disputed, and they have nothing in common with tug boats, but oddly, a number of them were converted to tugboats later in life.
