This scow was built in 1930 by Walkem's Shipyard Ltd. in Vancouver, BC.
In 1931-1967 she was owned by Gulf of Georgia Towing Co. Ltd., Vancouver BC Canada.
In 1967 she was owned by USA interests.
The initials "G. of G. " stood for Gulf of Georgia.
