Story

This schooner, two-masted (auxiliary) was built in 1925 by Burry, Baxter in Glovertown.

Historical Notes

In 1958 this vessel was condemned as "unfit for further service". Dr. David Warr (Email to Nauticapedia 14/07/2026) stated "Reg Warr was my grandfather's brother. Ages ago I remember my grandfather writing that the Warr family would go to Pilley's Island (a short distance from Springdale Newfoundland) early in the year to build fishing boats. It isn't surprising to me that he later purchased a schooner."
