This vessel was built in 1991 by Orange Shipbuilding Co.
Historische Notizen
Per Navsource: She was redesignated Unclassified Miscellaneous IX-519 and converted to berthing/working spaces in 1994. Upon completion she was welded on foundations into the well deck of La Salle (AGF-3).
She was struck from the Naval Register, 16 February 2002, and reclassified as equipment. When La Salle was sunk as a target 12 April 2007, off Pensacola, FL, this barge remained aboard her.
Eigentümer & Kapitäne
In 1991-2007 she was owned by the United States Navy.
Umbauten
Modified to Berthing and workspace barge to be integrated with USS LASALLE (LPD-3 / AGF-3) upon her conversion to a floating command center.
