Story

This fishboat, general was built in 1966 by Ferguson Industries Ltd., Pictou NS.

Historical Notes

Dirk Septer (Email to Nauticapedia 06/06/2026) stated "Eastpack No. 1 (IMO 6616394) (O.N. 323542) and her sister vessel Amy Usen (O.N. 323544) were built the same year at the same place. (Pictou Industries Ltd., Pictou County, Nova Scotia.) This 170-gt fishing trawler was later sold to some outfit in the Caribbean, where she was converted to a general cargo vessel/coaster. Surprisingly, she never changed her name. Since at least as far back as 2012, she was retired and moved to St. Lucia’s corrosion corner awaiting her fate, slowly rusting away. Over 2024, most of her upper structure was dismantled/salvaged. Like her long-time companion there, Vicky B. IMO 5239199, Eastpack No. 1 now also was sunk and sits as a dive wreck off Anse Cochon. "

Owners & Masters
