Story

This pilot boat was built in 1989 by Queen Craft in Panama City, FL.

Historical Notes

George Schneider (April 2026) writes: The Coast Guard presently doesn't have an inspection protocol for pilot boats, so they're generally classed as Passenger vessels. This one is not ever employed to carry crew members to ships etc, so she is classed as a recreational vessel, requiring less-stringent standards for equipment and protocols.
