Story

This passenger vessel (cruise ship) was built in 1992 by Blount Marine in Warren, RI.

Historical Notes

George Schneider writes: She was intended to be built as Mayan Princess, but a legal challenge from Princess Cruises resulted in a change of name. As built, she was designed to transit the New York Barge Canal, and as such had a retracting wheelhouse to clear the bridges along that waterway.
