Historische Notizen

George Schneider writes: She was designed with a special bow and bow ramp fitted for beaching to allow passenger boarding. As built she had 20 staterooms and passenger capacity was limited to 42 for cruises longer than 6 days. Her dimensions were restrained to enable passage through the New York Barge Canal System, and her superstructure could be lowered to fit under the bridges there.
