George Schneider writes: On 31 January 2026 she caught fire off the Galapagos Islands and sank. All her crew were rescued.
Eigentümer & Kapitäne
She was intended for delivery in 1983 for Edmund P. Gann but the contract was cancelled. Next she was picked up by Philippine owners, who also abandoned the contract.
She was completed by the builders and fished for them under the name J.M. Martinac Shipbuilding Co.
In 2004 she was sold to Guatemalan owners.
In 2006 she began fishing for Pesquera Galastur SA, Panama.
By 2019 she was owned by Bonito Fishing SA, Panama.
