故事

历史记录

A U. S. Coast Guard report refers to her sinking and destruction at Whittier, Alaska: On February 3, 2006, at approx. 0834, the F/V LEWIS & CLARK was found to be partially sunk at the dock. The vessel's mast and part of the wheelhouse remained above the waterline. The vessel had discharged a minimal amount of oil which caused a sheen upon Passage Canal which is a U.S. Navigable Waterway. Upon further investigation it was found that the City of Whittier had impounded the vessel and taken ownership prior to November 28, 2005. The vessel has sank on multiple occasions in the past due to lack of maintenance.
