This vessel spent the war minesweeping with the Halifax Local Defence Force.
In 1942 this vessel escorted one convoy to Boston MA USA and another back to Halifax NS. On 15/01/1945 with H.M.C.S. Comox this vessel rescued the survivors of the US Liberty ship Martin Van Buren torpedoed off Halifax NS. This vessel was paid off in 1945.
In 1947 this vessel was sold to Marine Industries Ltd. This vessel was converted to a merchant vessel.
In 1987 this vessel was broken up at La Malbaie PQ.
